Had to tink 2 rows on the prayer shawl. Homespun is very difficult to tink! I think it's fixed now - such an easy project, so perhaps I wasn't paying attention as I knitted. Anyway, should get plenty of time at the car dealer tomorrow to get it all fixed (even if I have to frog it!). Too bad as I wanted to move quickly on it since it's going to a friend's friend. Usually we don't have a specific person in mind as a recipient so it doesn't matter how long it takes.

Missed the first Wisteria Bag class last night due to a late vet visit with Ted. Started the bag anyway and realized I have 5 WIP's right now - active ones anyway! have a few old inactive WIP''s too. Will polish some off this weekend. Still toying with the idea of a Vineyard bag instead of wisteria which is what I first thought the bag was - looked like bunches of grapes until I looked more closely. So I'm thinking of making bobbles and felting them to see if they come out like nice round grapes!

Went to a knitting group last night. 8 people including 2 teenagers (great to see them knitting!) and 2 women from the store. Pay a one time fee and you can go every second Monday of the month for the rest of your life! It's an afghan making group using Manos yarn - your can do it in squares but we do it in strips so there is less sewing up at the end. Infinite possiblilites as far as patterns and colors for the "squares" and it's 12 squares in total. Called "Four Seasons Throw". At first I planned on doing it all in that red, variegated Manos which I love but now I think I'll alternate with white. I like the woman who owns the yarn shop - she stocks Manos not only because it's a gorgeous yarn but because it's made by a woman's collective in Uruguay - she feels women in our country ought to be advancing the status of women in poorer areas which have little opportunity for women to improve their lives.

Here's our hound, Sammy. She's a retired racing greyhound, now a sofa hound.

Saffy, named for Saffron Monsoon from Ab Fab - oh, and Ted (see below) was named for Father Ted Crilley of (what else?) Father Ted!

Berroco Ultra Alpaca and Memoirs

Three irish Hiking Scarves - these were my first cabling projects and my first knitting of something other than garter stitch scarves.

Knitted with Plymouth Galway and Berroco Foliage.

Here he is licking his chops - he thought it was a Cosmo!

I wanted a cute Christmas picture of my little guy Ted so I poured cranberry juice cocktail into a martini glass and put him next to it. Much to my surprise he drank it!

This was my first successful felted bag and my first attempt at needle felting - cute!
Angora Lace Jabot
Toaster Ted!
This is my first attempt with blogging and I am clueless as to what to do, so I'll just jump in!
